I agree, keep BBC3 going. I am of the "older generation" brought up on great comedy. BBC3 shows some great comedy too, keep it going. Do not sacrifce BBC4 to do this, it is also an excellent channel. The best thing to do is, move football away from BBC and let Sky broadcast this. Save the money from this to keep BBC3 alive and well.

this is stupid there are so many channels that have nothing good on all the time. and one of the beat ones is being cancelled. ridiculous.

The only decent programmes on the bbc are on bbc 3 (apart from top gear) we always watch American dad and family guy along with the other programmes

It will be awful if BBC3 goes to online only. Presumably this will lead to the channel being axed altogether when the viewing fires fall.
