This is such an important greenspace for the local community, it is appalling if it is not kept as such, especially as the rest of the area is getting even more densely populated with high-rise flats everywhere. People need space to breathe, to meditate , to play - with simple things like grass, sand, dogs, and to be among living green things, birds etc. The children's group from Wandsworth Quaker meeting has had a number of outings there and outings there, for example. as well as going as private individuals.

This is a park for people to go and enjoy, taking their children to somewhere safe to play, not a playground for cars to speed around. I have lived in Battersea all my life and seen lots of changes in the park but nothing like this.

I fully support your campaign. I can't believe Wandsworth Council are doing this, they are always trying to make money out of our green spaces, why don't theyjust leave the alone for everyone to enjoy, don't they realise how important these environments are for everyone's health and well being even for those people who have little money, they can enjoy them at no cost. Wandsworth LEAVE OUR GREEN SPACES ALONE.

The Councils behaviour is a disgrace. Battersea Park is a large London park for all to enjoy. not for the Council to appriate to make money!

I love the sanctuary of our park, please don't spoil it
An event like this does not seem suitable for this sort of park and the disruption, both before and after the event, will inconvenience many park users.
