Unacceptable amount of disruption for financial gain. No consultation with local resident and the general public who use this park.

What a disgusting way to treat such a beautiful green open space in central London. The park has been destroyed by morons in hi-vis jackets!

The disruption is breathtaking and one of the loveliest places is London is now one of the ugliest. We are pushed out of our wonderful park by concrete and metal on a huge scale. We love this park and need to be able to use it for our hearts and souls

The disruption in the park is immense and goes completely against what our common ground should be used for. I am wholly against this kind of commerical usage of this park or any other park.

This is a total desecration of our beautiful, listed park, which looks like Alkatraz and the event cannot be allowed to take place again.

A disruptive eyesore that has made the park unaccessible, noisy and dirty. How is this in keeping with Battersea's inclusive nature. For the Council to agree to this was foolish and shortsighted.

I love the wide green spaces of London's parks. It's the feature that sets it apart from all the other great cities of the world and makes it outstanding! Of all these parks, Batterers has a special place in everyone's hearts... Im saddened by this turn of events. ...

car racing shouldn't be happening in this small public park. Not only disturbing the public users, but also disturbing all the living creatures in the park (ie. ducks, foxes, birds...)

I fully support the campaign to prevent Battersea Park from being used for car racing events. I regularly cycle through the park and have not been able to do so for the last couple of weeks due to the barriers and concrete blocks and very narrow spaces for people to cram through. Environmentally this racing event and the degree of construction required is ludicrous, not to mention the extra areas of tarmac they have built, socially it is excluding the public froma well-loved, beautiful and well-used public space for the exclusive benefit of a few; and it is very undemoctractic - how much consultation have they done on this? How much opportunity have they given to the public to have our say? I oppose the racing and hope it can be limited to just one year if it has to go ahead at all.

I have a one year old son and I'm pregnant with our second child. We also have a dog. Having limited outside space the park is an absolute lifesaver for me and my family. A walk in the park is part of our daily routine otherwise we would be quite housebound. I am actually very upset with the way that the park has been transformed into a racetrack. Huge articulated lorries turning in a small space are quite initimidating when you are trying to get to the green space in the middle. It's scary! What's even more upsetting is that this could be an annual event, so for a month in the summer our park is effectively shut down. Not a happy bunny.
