Here you go town councils every where are the same
Bad leaders making bad decisions
Where im at houses have flooded 4 times in 6 years (thats said its not labeled a flood zone so owners cant get flood insurance) the middle of town
And wont approve to have storm drains cleaned and definitely wont spend the est. $80,000 it would take to keep homes nice
But approve $2,000,000 to put up 3 signs thats say welcome to Mooresville home of the state flag.
Theres nothing historical in town and not a tourist destination at all.

I support the car audio industry and its members. From the simple to the extreme this is a hobby and hobbies are meant to be enjoyed. No laws were broken when someone worked hard and saved just to buy a new piece of equipment they could be proud of. So why must their enjoyment of that piece of equipment be banned? If you ban this group then you need to ban every concert, every show that uses a PA system, every parade, and every fireworks show; because those may be loud and offensive to someone else. However, who would want to live in a world of silence? We have the sense of sound for a reason. Give us our outlet to play our sound, show off our building and engineering skills, and enjoy some competition as a group. I would challenge the members of the council to blend fiberglass, wiring, carpentry, painting, and upholstering into just one project. While the council may not understand the passion behind these car audio builds, it doesn't mean it doesn't have a place. Thanks, Thomas Byers

I think people will complain about anything. We are meeting to express a similar hobby such as those who meet to watch a sporting event. There are much worse things we could be meeting to do, such as drugs or other crimes. God bless you all.

This is not an every weekend event. Ya the main point is yes it is affecting a business, plus causing the city to lose revenue for after event shows patrons frequenting the restaurants & would probably deter other events from wanting to have events in the town.
