This is a neighborhood area not ever intended to be home to industrial business.

I grew up in the area and attended Balmoral Elementary school for a short time.

How is it that this particular neighborhood would be ruined by a storage facility, but a different neighborhood wouldn't be? Would you rather have a landfill? Like the one proposed in Frayser next to their school? Get over yourselves people!

There is enough industry in this area. We don't need to junk it up with a trashy garage complex.

DO NOT allow this development to become a storage unit or car lease facility!

I never sign online petitions but I see true merit and the opportunity to effect change that's good for East Memphis. This is the part of town that has not gone through the same rot as other areas, like Whitehaven and Hickory Hill. Only because people in East Memphis stood firm, instead of fleeing south or east. One problem with the petition is that it is not specific about the location or the proposed variances. I had to plow through a bunch of emotional post before I found a few that clarified this issue

A neighborhood grocery store would be great!
