Dance plays important roles in community cultural development. It's particularly important in our increasingly sedentary communities. We all know dance can have powerful and positive effects, including physical, emotional, mental, and social benefits, for people's lives of all ages, it also helps to develop and celebrate our community's image and identity with color & beauty.

I know Cheryl Burke from having performed in the studio's jazz band. Everyone there LOVES the live music and dancing to Big Band tunes which stand the test of time. Extending the lease is a small price to pay for community spirit and a beloved dance studio!

Please keep the Cheryl Burke Dance open. The studio is wonderful clean and healthy environment for the community to dance and meet. There are not many such places in the Bay Area.
