Born and raised in Oak Bluffs, near the down town, memories of fishing the derby and popping in late night (I mean real late night) and getting hot donuts. It's not quite the secret island spot it once was but it is certainly still the staple of OB I grew up eating. Would be an absolute shame to see this go away.

Back Door Donuts is a beloved institution. It is more than a bakery, it is social hub and family friendly activity—as important as the Ink Well and the Carousel to those of us that frequent the island. Please continue this tradition and work with the community to find a resolution that benefits all parties involved.

This is a staple of the OB community. My wife and kids make this our first stop of our annual family vacation. This must be saved!

People who buy homes in a business district should not be shocked to learn that people operate businesses. And they most certainly shouldn't have the ability to shut those businesses down. The concessions made already are ridiculous.

Back Door Donut is a staple in MV. It’s part of tradition of being on the vineyard. It must remain open. My grandchildren will be devastated. Taking them to back Door Donuts is a perfect excuse for staying up past their bedtime.

It’s literally summer time !!! can everyone stop being so lame trying to shut down a tradition that’s been around on the island for multiple decades. You cant shut down late night back door donuts! This is a business, it’s summer, and it’s been a tradition for YEARS!
