This could set precedent in other ways against OB and nightlife. Let’s keep traditions in place. New people need to just accept them!

Love Back Door Donuts. Always have. Great idea as a business. Absolutely loved seeing it go from what it started as to what it has become!!

Don't let the (very small) minority dictate to the (very large) majority!

This place is an institution. There is not one summer my family and I have not done for donuts after dark. You’d be ruining the magic of MV by banning this.

This is wrong do they realize they are hurting a business that is important to the island economy also so close your windows and put ear plugs in also this is a island tradition for a lot of families

A wonderful business and lovely island tradition! Standing in line chatting up others, sticky faces with kids up past bedtime, folks of all ages from everywhere enjoying the simple joy of sugar together… it’s wholesome source of community and pleasure in these complicated times. We need back door donuts!

I love BDD and have been going to the island with my family since I was a little kid. I’m not ready to let BDD go and I don’t think it should. It’s a Vineyard staple and it wouldn’t be the same without it.

It would be a loss for all to loose BDD!!!

MV without BDD would be insane. Our family has owned a house on the Vineyard for over 20 years. In fact we’re located steps away from Back Door Donuts and each year our guests look forward to standing on that line in the PM for the Apple Fritter donuts! Please do not remove BDD !!!

We Uber from Menemsha just to go to Back Door Donuts. Without Back Door Donuts there is less of a reason to spend time in OB.
