I have been coming to the island for 16 years and back door donuts is a tradition that I fully embrace. No one on this planet makes an apple fritter like back door donuts. Standing in line chatting with locals and visitors waiting for that delicious warm apple fritter to be placed in my hand is something I look forward to every year along with a dirty banana and other culinary delights in OB. The person(s) who wants to stop this tradition should either come join the festivities as we wait for a delicious donut or move.
