This is a long time tradition on the island. They have been nothing but good neighbors to the entire island for years and years. You cannot let one person ruin this tradition for everyone. People look forward to going to the island just for this bakery alone especially in the late night hours. The bakery is part of the island and makes the island attract more people than most realize. One bad egg should not spoil the dozen. Whoever has the issue with this business should consider moving elsewhere if they have a problem with a long running tradition on this island. I know for a fact this business does more for the island than that person complaining will ever do for the island. If it was up for vote, I know who would win this election...as long as the ballots were counted correctly accurately (;

One of the highlights of my entire YEAR is lining up at Back Door Donuts to get a warm and tasty coffee roll. How anyone could hate this little slice of heaven is beyond me. #savebackdoordonuts

Ridiculous! You live in the heart of a town that gets a lot of summer tourism and has an awesome (and harmless) tradition. Everyone else should miss out so that you can sleep better two months of the year? Sad!

I’ve been going to back door since I was a little girl, before it was crazy busy, before it was heavily advertised and back when not many people knew about. It’s a tradition for my family every summer when we visit and a tradition I want to share with both of my babies when they’re old enough to eat donuts. It would be a shame for back door to be shut down. #SAVEBACKDOORDONUTS
