Please allow the parents to have rights over when their child should or should not be removed from life support. It would not affect the interest of the public nor properties in any negative manner. The issue at hand should not be up for debate. In a CPS case, rights may be removed from a parent(s) due to negligence, battery, assault or any other reasons the court may deem fit. In this case, Nick’s parents have not gone through any legal due process to have their rights revoked. They have all legal rights to care for Nick Torres, rights which were never revoked prior to declaration of brain death. Thus, the court should find judgement for the Torres family to care for their son Nick as they see fit not any other persons, entities, nor corporations such as Texas Children’s Hospital.
Stay strong young one
