From our very first battle with Jarlaxle, to Varren's grandmother's birthday party, to our desperate fight with the Lord of the Wrecks, to helping us exorcise the vengeful spirit of Candice Willoughsby, to aiding Frick in finding the clue that would lead us to the Seraph -- the curmudgeonly half-orc has been one of our most steadfast allies. This is no time to kill him off, just as he's entered a new chapter in his life -- surviving his retirement from the Watchful Order, finding love with Nessie, and becoming a member of the Masked Lords! Axel Lund IS Waterdeep, and without him, who's going to remind Varren to keep his nose clean?
