I had the opportunity to be apart of this band program during the years of 2010-2013 under the direction of Robert Jeffery. This pains me to hear that the program has come to this point; as this program has helped shape/build the community. I would do everything in my power to keep the legacy alive!

Music and visual arts are essential at the middle school level for the cultivation of each art form. As a concerned neighbor, I implore APS to keep the program and show more financial support.

Save the band program!!! Children who play instruments do better in math. It stimulates their creativity and helps with the growth and development of future music composers

The music band helped me grow into a well rounded person. I was a shy introvert who had trouble making friends. The band helped almost forced me to make friends and associate with my band mates. I developed life long friendships, 46 years later and we still keep in touch

Save the band because if we don't the students won't have a band at Mays. They know what they are doing. will Sutton Middle have a band? Why our children.

Please SAVE the band of Jean Childs Young Middle School. My son was a band member at Young, it's where he learned how to play drums under Mr. Jeffrey.
