Jacoby is one of the few people at frontier that make that school feel like home. She gets students in a way other teachers don't. We can't lose her.

Please keep AD Jacoby as she has brought back spirit from students and parents back to Frontier. She has put alot of time and encouragement for our students.

In the short time that I had the pleasure of working with Jennifer Jacoby at Frontier, it was evident to me that she genuinely cared about the students, and what she could do for them. Jacoby's passion for athletics, along with her extremely hard work ethic and persistence, could be seen daily as she talked with students, attended sporting events, worked the concession stand, or chatted with parents in the stands. Frontier should consider themselves lucky to ever get such a wonderful AD. With the high turnover rate of staff, and a very high amount of experienced as well as first-year teachers leaving, Frontier would be making a huge, clearly unsupported, decision to let such a prominent figure go.

I've known Jennifer Jacoby as a my student and as an adult. She cares .... she has excellent ideas, communication skills and sports knowledge. Why would you let her go???

She is an outstanding role model for the youth at Frontier. She is a small town girl herself and she has done well, yet still chooses to strive in a small town environment. She should be commended for her efforts and we should feel blessed for having her influence on the youth at Frontier High School.

To say that the decision to try and dismiss AD Jacoby after only one year in her position is rather surprising is ....well, and understatement. It's tantamount to finally realizing rotary phones are not used much these days. I must say that I don't know Jennifer Jacoby at all, nor do I know Superintendent Rowe. I have heard plenty about both individuals from the community in the past 24 hours. I am a graduate of Frontier and live in the community, and have been saddened by the overall state of the athletic program in recent years. The low scores in education at the high school level are even more reason for deep concern, and I'm quite confident that doesn't originate with the AD. So when I hear of the potential dismissal of AD Jacoby, who is obviously a valuable asset to the young adults in this community, it makes me pause to consider what is really going on. Obviously, there is no way to truly know each exact detail of the situation. However, I do know this: If superintendent Rowe has an abundance of substantive facts and examples that underscore her decision to make such a move, then ultimately the decision should be upheld. If not, then AD Jacoby should remain as AD and the board should simultaneously begin to examine why the original decision to terminate employment was made in the first place. I would urge the members of the school board to exhaust every effort to diligently study the facts of this decision, listen closely to both Supt. Rowe and AD Jacoby, as well as members of this community. At that point the board should be able to adequately determine the full nature (positively or otherwise) of how AD Jacoby has impacted the student-athletes of this community. After such deliberation, let us then hear the final determination on the matter from the school board. I trust it will be one that best positions Frontier to further enhance the student-athlete educational experience.

Jennifer Jacoby needs to remain employed as Frontier School Corporation's Athletic Director. We all know about her basketball prowess. She was a student at Rosssville Jr/Sr High School when I taught there. I coached the track team and Jennifer's knees were already bad so she wouldn't run for me. But she volunteered to be the MANAGER of that team! Even at that young age she showed her penchant towards servitude!

Frontier's losses in faculty, including Andrew Moody and Kyle Marsh, have become disturbing. The turnover in the past two years since Mrs. Rowe's first full year has virtually been a revolving door on the high school. The retirement and resignations have continued even though the quality has not improved. The superintendent has become too narcissistic for our community. You can't fire a faculty. You can fire a superintendent.

Jacoby is the best thing that's happened to frontier! This school has gone so down hill since Rowe became the superintendent. Maybe she and hettinger need to go, and we keep Jacoby. Give her the job back!
