Please consider to leave our historical Atco Raceway as is. Please do not make it a junk yard for damaged cars to leak all there fluids into our drinking water. Most of us have well water in this area and do not want our water contaminated. Our local businesses, including food, hotels and car accessories will not survive if the track closes. This small town needs the revenue that this track brings in. There is another vacant property which was the old drive in movie theater on Rt.73 that they can purchase. That would give this town 2 propagates to collect and revenue from both. Please consider leaving 1000 Jackson Road , Atco, NJ a race track. Thank you!

The next closest tracks are Cecil county & Maple Grove. It would be a real shame to the history of this place.

I was a resident for 9 years, growing up off of the old white horse pike. I watched drag racing & MX here, until they shut down the MX track. The closing of the drag strip would put a severe damper on revenue generated for Atco by tourism.
Unfortunately the town is becoming known for drug overdoses, dive bars, and small businesses closing. I moved out of the town due to this reason and only go back for the Drag strip.
This racetrack is the only beacon of hope to give children of Atco a place to go for enjoyment, a way to generate out of state/city income and a reason for residents to be proud of their town.
Any complaint about Noise issues, street racing, etc will increase due to no legal outlet for these racers.

I grew up at the race track, my father owned a local motorcycle shop nearby in the 70’s and 80’s and we spent nearly every weekend there watching his employees race the 1/4 mile or the 1/8 mile sand drags...good times, hope it can be saved for future generations

Been going there since I was 10 , love the place , the different smells of gas and rubber is a natural high :)

This place is a landmark and part of alot of memories of good times for so many. It really needs to continue to be what it has been for so many people for so long

As someone whos been to several shows at Atco, and has just recently been able to start working on a car to take to the track, i really would hate to see it go. Losing yet another track is just gonna turn more people into going to the streets to get passes in, and increases the danger for everyone. Keep the track open so we can race on the track and not on the streets
