It would be ashame to see this place sold and closed. So many people go there with their family and friends to have fun. If the owner wants to sell I think he needs to consider someone who will buy it to keep it a race track not some auto auction that can build somewhere else instead. Keep atco alive

This place we know so much is the spot for some wonderful racing .you can bring your family and freinds to to enjoy a wonderful. The though ot losing a place is devastating and cant swallow the fact that it's about to become go for ever .they took raceway park from us please dont let them take this place from us as well.thank you

THE OWNER OF THE TRACK WANTED TO GET THE BIG DRAG RACERS HERE, HE WANTED TO EXPAND PARKING NEW BUILDINGS, CLEAR OUT SOME TREES FORM TRACK AREA AS THERE WAS A BIG CRASH BLOWN DRAGSTER WHICH WENT OFF THE TRACK AND HIT TREE MANY YEARS AGO, TOWNSHIP PINELAND COMMISSION WOULD NOT APPROVE THE UPGRADES TO ENABLE NHRA EVENTS TO COME BACK TO ATCO, THE COMPANY BUYING ATCO ALREADY TURNED ENGISHTOWN RACEWAY INTO A SAVAGE YARD, WHATS NEXT, WHY ARE THEY TARGETING DRAG STRIPS, MAYOR MURPHY RESPONDED HE HAD NO INTEREST IN US MOTOR HEADS, DRAG RACING IS A GREAT SPORT IN MANY STATES ACROSS AMERICA INFACT IS WHAT MADE AMERICA A GREAT NATION FORM ALL OTHER COUNTRY'S WHICH ENVY US AND NOW UNDER ATTACK, DRAG STRIPS ON EAST COST IS UNDER ATTACK AND I HEARD EVEN MAPLE GROVE IS FOR SALE, WHATS GOING ON RULES, REGULATIONS, RESTRICTIONS, TAXES FORM STATES LOCAL GOVERNMENT HAS HAVE GOTTEN WAY OUT OF HAND CAUSING DRAG STRIPS TO CLOSE OR SELL, PRETTY SOON ALL THAT WILL BE LEFT IS A FEW PARKS YOU CAN SIT THERE IN A ROCKING CHAIR WHILE SOMEONES DOG PISSES ON YOUR FOOT, DRIVE IN MOVIE THEATERS GONE, THE BIG BOWLING ALLIES NOW CAR LOTS GONE, NOW RESTAURANTS DISAPPEARING BUT THEY ARE BUILDING THE FASTEST STREET CARS EVER, WERE THEY GOING TO GO, WHY ARE THESE RACE CAR BUILDERS NOT GETTING INVOLVED, STREET RACING IS COMING BACK AND COULD BE DEADLY, THESE TRACKS WERE BUILT TO STOP THAT AND A GREAT PLACE TO GO AND HAVE GREAT FUN, I SURELY HOPE ATCO WILL SURVIVE, THIS IS WHAT I LOVE SINCE I WAS A KID, THEY KEEP TAKING AWAY OR FUN THINGS TO DO, I WANT THE OLD DRIVE INS MOVIE THEATERS BACK TOO, I NEED ATCO TO STAY SANE, I LOVE OLD CARS AND HOPE SOMEONE CAN PULL SOME STRINGS , I SAY RESET THE WHOLE WORLD BACK TO 70S CURRENCY, REVALUE THE DOLLAR AND PRICE OF LONG AGO WHEN ONE PERSON WAGES COULD BUY A HOUSE CAR FOOD AND FEED THE KIDS WHILE WIFE WAS AT HOME COOKING DINNER WHEN YOU GOT HOME, DID YOU FORGET THAT, WHEN YOU LOOK BACK AND HOW GREAT IT WAS MAKES YOU THINK, HOW IN THE HELL DID IT GET LIKE IT
