Shutting the drag strip down to do a salvage yard is not a good idea yes the noise and oil and antifreeze are a problem but also is taking our sport away seems the drag strips are getting shut down all the time. I do vote to not shut it down not only for my likes but I’m for the environmental sake of things as well

Significant economic loss will be needlessly triggered in NJ & PA by the closure of Atco Dragway and Raceway Park: auto parts stores, body shops, fabricators, welding services, dyno & tuners, car hauler (trailers), performance car dealerships, and fuel suppliers, will all be forced to close as there will no need for their products or services. New car dealers of corvette, mustang, demon, camaro, BMW, audi, Toyota, Subaru, etc, will see their top performance sales reduced or eliminated as there will no longer be venues for testing, tuning, racing, or showing their top performing new vehicles. There are many available acres of unused paved areas suitable for auto auction and storage that do not engager wildlife. The best solution is to keep Atco as a dragstrip and locate the auction outside of wildlife habitat.

This was my first time at the track, but I have to say that the people, groups, and families that race this track have more dedication and heart to keeping this place alive then I've ever seen. I understand financial

Please keep Atco Raceway!! We have already lost Englishtown Raceway and there is no other dragstrip in NJ to legally and safely race. That alone should be enough to keep it open!!

Central jersey car enthusiasts recently lost our local dragway, Raceway Park. Losing Atco now would be a huge blow to the dragracing family. We've enjoyed many events over the years and would hate to see this hobby and tradition fade away.
