I love Atco dragway, been going for 30+ years. I just moved 5 miles away, I hope it stays there for my kids to enjoy.

I'm 68 years old, I have been coming to Atco raceway since I was 15. My heart aches to think that the track won't be there anymore.

We go there all the time. Since 1996 we would come to atco from long Island ny and spend money in your town and at the race track. We have had many good times and would like to keep racing there. I've ment many people there that I call my friends so please keep the track open or atleast sell to someone that will keep it a race track.

Keep the track open. It's a safe and friendly environment for all.

Do not close the race track. I come to Atco all the time from Pennsylvania and spend money at the Dragway and surrounding businesses. If the track is closed I will never be back and will spend my money in Pennsylvania or Maryland. Think of all the hard hit local businesses.

We need the drag strip

Atco is a place where we can drive fast cars fast safely. So many cars today are too fast to be opened up on the street safely. And Atco is a place where anyone can participate in motorsports for a small amount of $$. And it is a social group for bored Grandpas.

this race track is very needed to help reduce street racing and it gives our teens something better to do than hanging out in the streets

I own XtremeDrivetrain and Performance Transmissions. I have been in the business for 30+yrs. Because of Englishtown Raceway Park, it's drag strip, it's events and swap meets; it changed my life. My childhood pretty much consisted of me being in my father's trans shop in Connecticut every chance I had (every Saturday and day off from school, all summer long and then full time when I graduated). Every Saturday there were between 3-5 guys with insane 8-10 second drag cars getting there cars ready to drive from Danbury Connecticut to Englishtown Raceway Park. Yes, my childhood was the best. About 18yrs ago I had a partner that I owned a shop on Rt. 9 on the Morganille/Englishtown border, right on the jug handle for Texas Rd. which is how you get to Englishtown Raceway Park. I am no longer at that location, because in January 17, 2018, the two drag strips on the property were closed. Raceway Park no longer hosts drag racing events of any type. That only left Atco Dragway for a place in N.J. for drivers to be able to safely and legal race their vehicles. To remove the Drag Strip at Atco only to put a Salvage Yard wont benefit anyone, it will only hurt the avid drag race and street/strip enthusiast and their families. Not to mention busineses like my own. Removing the drag strip at Atco will only lead to people street racing and if a salvage yard of any type ones there it will only hurt the environment,
