This school has taught me so much and helped sculpt me to be who I am today. To see it go would be a great loss to it's community and the people inside!

It pains me to know that such an amazing school of the Arts is in danger because of those in the board who may see it as a failing school! I am signing this petition because I firmly believe that by keeping Arts High School alive, you're giving kids in the urban community an opportunity to pursue a career in the performing arts. Let's not allow the board to take away our school!

I never went here, and the school does have its share of problems like any other, but it's a home for eccentric and talented children to hone their abilities without demoralization from others. The quality of Art (i.e music, modern art) has dwindled in recent years. Ignorance of art has boomed a subculture of a selfish, and capitalist demographic. Enriched artistic education is dire to educate a generation of musicians and artists who bring out the true quality of art, and in turn bring out the best in people.

The arts played a very important role to me during high school. I participated in choir and drama club for most of my high school career and I loved it so much. I think every high schooler deserves the opportunity to have the same amazing experiences I had through participating in these incredible programs at my high school.

I grew up wanting to go to this school since the 1st grade and proud to be a 2014 grauate and an alumni. I'd hate to see this school be left as history

Arts High school is part of history in New Jersey! Instead of destroying it make it a historical landmark. Many famous people have past though it's door, many have also been deeply inspired by all that it offered us whom have had the privilege of attending and graduating from Arts High. I hope to never see it gone for the future students and Alumni alike it would indeed be a tragic loss.

I love this school ! It made me the person I am today and gave me family and friendships that will last a life time. "As the years go marching on , one by one we'll soon be gone , though our hearts will be with you ARTS HIGH ! "
