Arts High School is not just any school, it's a training ground that has produced some of the most talented, distinguished, grounded citizens that contribute much to our society. Many of our young people are richly endowed in the arts. My ability to exercise in my gifting helped shape the man I have become. Arts taught me how to persevere. It taught me the importance of consistency. It would be tragic for other young people not to reap the same benefits that my mom, brother sister and I have reaped from our experience in Arts High School.

This school is a staple in the Newark community, I auditioned to attend Arts High, a good number of my friends attended the school as well...the talent that has came and continuously comes out of this school should be more than enough of a reason to keep it open.

Does this administration even know the greatness that has come out of this school? This school allowed us to shape and master the gifts that God gave to us! It gave us a vision for our future. This school has produced many great individuals from the city of Newark who are teachers, Drs., Social workers, actors, musicians, etc. All from a city who people seem give up on! Don't take away a Newark Gem!!!!

This CAN NOT HAPPEN! Arts High School has paved the way for me as a creative mind. It sparked and helped shape my talents and that is due to it being a school that ACCEPTS the artistic and determined youth. Let it be that!

i have a son that attends this school and we couldn't be happier he has wonderful teachers that care and are always reaching out. Also he has devoleped his guitar skills to new place where he has shocked many people. All thanks to the wonderful staff of Arts High School

My son is a current senior at arts high ... And this sin has done a lot of amazing things ... If kids keep loosing good sch n activity that the like to do ... We will loose our kids the these st and we can't let that happen... Please sign and let's keep arts high school open

Representing the class of 1998. AHS is not only an education facility, it's history, its culture , its past and present students are forever changed because of the relationships, the education and the talents that were taught by its teachers and staff. It would be a horrible decision made by the system to shut these doors down. Children , especially children in Newark need a school of this prestige and professionalism in their community.
