Lack of knowledge and experience in the planning field exhibited with ALL ongoing projects is astounding!

A good cause. Seldom is everyone happy with any ruling, but right is right and wrong is wrong. What council is doing now is wrong.

Absolutely NOT. I know this was the concept put forth to make space for the Gord Brown rink. Stuffing all recreation space onto one plot of land doesn't make any sense. This town doesn't have room for the amount of recreational activities we need (for children, youth, adults, seniors, and dogs). Why can't we expand the dog park? Why can't we build tennis courts or a soccer pitch in Mini Town park that gets under utilized and frankly only gets used for dogs by the privileged few? We have a lot of open lot spaces that could be expanded, and apply for grants and federal money to increase amenities for everyone. Now people are expected to what ... just sit at home buying crap in Amazon? No thank you! I've already signed this petition when it went to Council the last time. Why are we taking spaces that are used, while other spaces sit empty?

We need more baseball fields not less. It also does not make sense to tear down the only one that is fully functional. The one behind town hall gets written off every year by Ribfest, which is at the beginning of the baseball season. We need our baseball assosciation, it is the most affordable kids activity in town.

So many people have a lot of great memories playing at this diamond and hope that many more have the chance to. So proud of my mom for all the hard work she put into this diamond.

You need to save the diamond as it was built so gananoque could have a proper baseball diamond as town park is not the right size
