Arenajunkies.com is a website dedicated to the Player vs Player aspect of World of Warcraft.

From TBC to MoP, the website was a great source of information for PvP enthusiasts. The forums were also a very lively place.

From WoD to Legion, the website experienced a quick decline in popularity due to Blizzard caring less and less about the PvP aspect of WoW.

Consequently, the 17th April of 2018, Vanguards, one of the administrators of Arenajunkies, announced that the website will close the 1st of July of 2018.

Vanguards did not give any tangible reason about why the website was closing. If the issue is about hosting fees, several junkies said that they were willing to contribute to the running costs of the website.

Many Junkies believe that the website should be kept alive, not only for sentimental reasons but also because its content still has a lot of historical value.

In addition, with the recent increase of interest for legacy content and the announcement of Classic: WoW that will probably lead to the release of Classic: TBC /WotLK, the PvP community might leave its dormant state.

To conclude, even if this petition doesn't stop the site from closing, it will at least help us show the Arenajunkies staff how much love and support there is out there for their website and this can act as a thanks for all the efforts they have done over the last decade.
