This is a fabulous event, bringing world-class bands like Polyrythmics to Applegate. May it never end. A message to those who oppose it: Dost thou think, because thou art virtuous, there shall be no more cakes and ale?

Apple Jam is a community of people who gather each year. This gatherering helps so many people. Financially, many have come to count on this micro community and the funds vending, produnction or other work provides. Also apple jam really is a community with people who may never see each other except for this time a year. It is hard to say how valuable an event like this is to folks who care about it and have participated for as much as a decade. I wish people could work from faith and not fear. If they did they would see music and an exchange of goods, conversation and friendship ie a music festival-- is not something you need to protect your community from
