I am a West Portal Elementary parent of a child with an I.E.P. I am signing to urge your immediate reconsideration of reducing the paraprofessional staffing by transferring Annie Chiu to another school site. Our students with I.E.P.s depend on the consistency of the staff that they currently work with. Those relationships and the trust that comes along with it is developed over time is not easily interchanged nor easily replaced.

Please don't take away support staff from our West Portal Elementary School or any other SFUSD school. It's hard enough keeping families in SF, don't hurt the schools morale by making education of our most vulnerable students more difficult.
