You will regret if this nursery closes.
I found it hard when looking for a nursery at the time 2years again, luckily came across Annabel's. The staff there were so friendly and lovely to work with. Plus taught my child well.
I would recommend this nursery and it would be sad for them to close. Especially not fair for the children who only joined in September and now settled.
It has definiately upset me to see this petition. As my son was also due to join in January 2017.
This nursery should stay open!

All 3 of my children loved Annabels & had a great start to schooling & I think it's such a shame other children won't get to enjoy & learn like mine did.

Inclusive, multi-cultural, warm and friendly early-years setting which carefully follows a very successful teaching pedagogy (montessori) allowing freedom in the way in which children - albeit in a positive manner. Would be a huge shame for Annabells to leave the area affecting so many children and families.

For the past ten years I have been a parent with a child at Annabels Montessori. They have nurtured and educated three of my children and have been an integral part of their transition from family life to school life. Fourth time around Annabels continues to do an outstanding job for early years children. Having now the option of enrolling my last child with her siblings at the adjoining state nursery I still choose to bring her to Annabels, the staff genuinely care and more importantly I am assured of the best start to education of my child. Unsurprisingly my daughter loves Annabels she has flourished so much this term and has firmly built friendship sets, and to move her from this now would be damaging and disruptive. The friends she has made at Annabels also shows how important this school is to the community because Annabels is truly multicultural my daughter is exposed to so many different cultures and ethnic backgrounds at Annabels which is not typical of the demographic of the immediate area. The council should be helping this school and encouraging more like it not closing it down.

The best Nursery for miles and miles, how have the Council reached this ridiculous decision. My daughter had the best possible start in her academic history by going here, they offer so much which 'standard' nurseries cannot, the teaching method, the staff, the structure and learning through play which other places simply cannot compete with. I sincerely hope this decision is not final, it would be a huge loss.

Annabels has been a big part of my children's life. How awful that it is being asked to move. It is a big part of the lemsford community. It would be a disaster if it wasn't there Any longer. Please save it!

My daughter had a fantastic start of schooling through Annabels. She is still got such good memories related to the Anabells as the wonderful staff it's a shame that they have been asked to move specially after 23 years.

I am very sad and diasppointed that after so many years , a well established nursery is being asked to relocate. Annabel's has given my daughter an amazing start to school and provided a strong foundation. Lost for words.

I think it's terrible for the children. It's unsettling for them especially when a montessori gives children stability and familiarity .

I am very disapointed that people at Hatfield Council are more interested in their personal interests than on a school that is soo important for the upbringing of children, thats been there for many years and helped many children in a start in life, my daugher is there currently and she loves it. The teachers are very loving, supporting and caring and i believe a preschool is the foundation of a comunity.

My three boys went through this fantastic nursery. I'm shocked they've been asked to move. The staff are wonderful and the school gave my boys a brilliant start. It will be awful for the local community if this goes ahead.
