Tata sky decided to discontinue Animax (ch. no 611) sometime after second quarter 2011-2012. For many people in India,Animax is not only a channel for entertainment,its integral part of their life. Its not just kids that enjoy anime,but also many adults(me being one of them).
So the reason for such action remains mysterious to us. Over months our voices have remained unheard by tata sky officials. However,if we join our hands and show our love for anime,they might bring it back.
I know the chances are slim,but one thing I've learnt from anime is to never give up. So here I am asking for your help to save animax. Please sign the petition below and ask your friends,parents,grand parents and pets to sign up too.
