Amona is a small Jewish community in the Binyamin region of Judea and Samaria. It was built in 1995 with government funds and is currently home to around 40 families, that includes more than 200 children. Ten years ago Amona made international headlines, following a ruling by the Israeli Supreme Court, when it's residents were violently forced out by Israeli police. Many homes were destroyed and hundreds of people injured by the police during the expulsion.

Ten years ago millions of Israelis rallied to support the cause of Amona and the small village was quickly repopulated by it's residents. The cause of Amona was particularly important to Israelis as it came only a short time after the 20,000 Jewish residents of Gaza had just been forced out of their homes by the Israeli government. We were promised peace in exchange for giving up Gaza, but instead we got the Islamic terrorist movement Hamas and three wars which have left hundreds of Israelis dead.

Once again the Israeli left, their pockets full of money from the European Union and other anti-semitic organizations, are trying to destroy a peaceful Jewish community as part of their suicidal belief that creating an Arab terrorist state in the heart of Israel will bring us peace.

This time Israelis have once again made their voices heard loud and clear – "we have to save Amona". It is especially crucial given that we are in the midst of the worse wave of terror since the second intifada – dozens of Israelis have been murdered during the past year and hundreds injured in countless terrorist attacks perpetrated by Arabs. The majority pf Israelis believe that evacuating Amona right now would give a huge moral boost to our enemies and would only encourage more attacks and more dead Israelis – WE CANNOT LET THIS HAPPEN!

A large number of Knesset (Israeli parliament) members and government ministers* have stood up and declared that they will do everything in their power to stop the destruction of Amona – and we have to support them. The aim of this petition is to show support for the Israeli parliamentarians fighting to save Amona and to let them know that there are many people around the world who support them and the Jewish communities of Judea and Samaria.
