I am opposed to District 5 building a new school at this location. There are better ways to invest in educating our children than with a new building in an unsafe location.

We moved here to ESCAPE development; we are 100% OPPOSED to any DEVELOPMENT!! Even worse than a school is the planned mass destruction of trees and wildlife habitat, to say nothing of the probably 1000's of inferior tract housing that will appear as soon as greedy developers can throw them up.

We bought property in this area both because it is quiet and rural but also close to shopping and town. Rezoning Amicks Ferry Road would completely change the nature and appeal of the area.

I oppose building a new school at this location!! Why not utilize the property already housing schools; why spend more money to build another school in Chapin area at this time?!

I oppose the building of a school on this property.
Amick's Ferry is a nightmare now due to be over developed. This rural road was not made to handle all the traffic it has now. I have been a resident here for 37 years now and it seems that all the new comers want to change our area.

There is plenty of other property for sale what about all the property for sale around the high school let them build it there , make the intermediate school the elementary school and BUILD SOMEWHERE ELSE NOT ON AMICKS FERRY traffic is already bad enough just asking for more , DUMB !!! and who is the jerk that wants to sell them that property ? They will want to sell them to build a neighbor hood next just like on long PINE WHATS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE !!!!!

Absolutely NO ! I fought with the highway dept this summer over the paving of Amicks Ferry only to find out in order to get the money to pave it they classified it as a SAFETY project, Then lowered the speed limit. Even the school buses dont obey the 40 mph limit.
