This has got to be the most ridiculous things people are doing to these animals

If they continue to take all the peacocks away they might not like who replaces them pooping on the lawns

I am disgusted by the selfish person or persons responsible for uprooting our beautiful peacocks from their home. I hope they get trapped and uprooted from their home and placed in a jail cell.

What's next? getting rid of the roosters in Key West? This can not be coming from locals, but transplants. The birds were there first, leave them alone.

Those peacocks have been here over 50 years, & haven't bothered anyone, now, thru development & ignorance, a minority few have decided they can make a decision for folks that have been here a lot longer than they have. If you don't like the peacocks, why the hell did you move into their environment?! You don't like them, do the right thing ..... LEAVE!!

This bird added a certain "uniqueness" to the hood. This detracted from property values not add to it. I believe a cause of action against those individual(s) responsible should be explored. This is an outrage.

Try addressing the armadillo problem before you trap the peacocks. Armadillos carry leprosy. Shame on you for trapping the peacoks!

I have lived on this island for almost 60 years and the peacocks have always been here. They deserve a spot here, on this island just for them if the transplanted people don't like having them around.

Should have had a public hearing before taking this unfortunate unilateral action

Overbearing selfish decision-making by a small few that affects us ALL (including the trapper)! What a blunder! The trapper knew what he was doing. Just for money he chose to change our entire way of living. Just that easily. He could have declined the job knowing full well what would happen.
pathetic!
