As many of you know my long time dream of moving ALT Insurance Group to Anacortes happened last year. I was asked by George Armendarez ( General Manager of Nordic Tug) to take over the majority of their space.This would relieve them of the financial burden as they were struggling. I was asked by George to move in as soon as possible, even as the lease was being constructed. After moving in and incurring many expenses, I was told that the brokerage had been sold. I found thatGeorge had been working onselling the brokeragefor some time. This put both the Port of Anacortes and myself in a bad position as we were acting in good faith. The Port divided the space and put up a wall.This made the space muchsmaller than I was promised. Nordic Tug has refused to make any lease agreement or collect any rent. Thetwo months rent that I paid they did not cash. Now they have served me with a termination of tenancy and sent me a bill for an erroneous amount.

As I have had a boat in this marina for 26 years, I hadplanned to be working here for the next 10 years until I retire. I moved here to be a part of this marina and community, to help the local businesses and boaters. Being Bullied by Nordic Tug was not in the brochure for moving to this wonderful town. Iknow that I have a platform to help the local business and to invite boatersto this community.If you feel that I will uphold this office space for the better of the people in the community and marina, please sign this petition to show how you feel.
