Neill Blomkamp is seemingly doing the Hollywood trick of screwing everything up.

He's a mediocre director at best and has only had mild success with seen-it-all-before movies like District 9 and Elysium. He's currently in the process of releasing Short Circuit wannabe "Chappie"...

Alien 3 may not be the best film in history, but it's a decent movie, I enjoyed it and have it rated in a personal top 100 higher than Alien or Aliens. The extended cut is far superior than the cinematic cut too.

Blomkamp is in the process of making a new film for the Alien series... however, his new movie will totally ignore Alien 3, as if it never happened.

His movie will be set after James Cameron's Aliens, with Ripley and possibly Hicks and Newt too, meaning he will be rewriting movie history.

This petition is the principal of the matter. No movie can be simply be ignored or written over, just because some overrated movie director didn't like it, and no amount of smoke being blown up his arse should make it right to do so.

Save Alien 3.

Make Hollywood create something original for once instead of sitting moaning about it but doing nothing.

Make Alien 3 the poster-boy for movie fans to stand their ground and tell filmmakers that the audience is what matters... not the numbers.
