This course seems really meaningful and I would love to take it in the future.

This is so important. If there really is a lack of funding, this is NOT where cuts need to be made. Do better, Duke.

The most impactful course I ever took at Duke, by far. It taught about addiction from so many perspectives, and exposed me to Durham community resources (AA, Alanon, TROSA) I'd never otherwise have seen or been able to participate in.

By far the most practical class i've taken at duke. Not only has it helped me manage my own behaviors and habits, but it has equipped me to recognize problematic behaviors in others - which I now have the resources to direct them to for help. The most important aspect of this class is exposing people to the disease view of addiction rather than placing the blame on addicts themselves.

This class has had an HUGE impact on me and the way I approach addiction. Not only have I changed my own habits but the class has also helped me approach addicts and their issues
