How many petitions do I have to sign before they get the message? Why are studios so intent on cancelling all the best programming?

Agent Carter is one of my all time favorite shows. It gives young girls someone who is essentially a superhero without having any special powers for them to identify with. It shows real life issues with sexism that many women face everyday and shows that women can totally still be badass even though many people don't take them seriously. I'm signing this petition because I'm tired of having to identify with male superheros because there aren't any female ones. Peggy Carter is not only a badass but she's also a real person with feelings and interests. So many times when writers try to portray a "tough" woman she ends up being a character who is basically a guy with boobs. They are overly sexual and emotionally unattached and fall into the "not like other girls" trope where they don't like "girly" things and don't have feelings because it makes them look weak. Agent Carter is one of the few characters that I've been able to look to as an actual female role model in action shows and movies. I expect this show means as much to others as it does to me and cancelling it just enforces the message to women that their perspective isn't as important to be shown on tv and they don't deserve their own heroes who are main characters and not just two dimensional side characters in a male driven plot.

We cannot teach young girls that only male comic book characters get the chance to have a successful pop-culture reputation. BRING BACK PEGGY!!!

It's a great show. I enjoy the old school spy and espionage on AC, she doesn't rely on wifi and e-gadgets. Don't get me wrong, it works great in the rest oh Marvel Universe. Agent Carter is a sting, brave and determined woman, an excellent role model. If a series couldn't be considered, possibly movies. Please keep Agent Carter going!!

This petition means the world to me, because Peggy means the world to me. At firat, this may seem just a petty argument for a form of entertainment we want, but to me it is more than a want, it's a need. The argument goes much deeper than a want for a show. This is about presentation of women in the entertainment industry. And not even just women, but a show that doesn't drip with sex, excessive language, and needless violence, as most do on television these days. The show is light, it's comical, it's sweet, it's immersive. But it is also very deep, tackling issues like descrimination, sexism, and the fight between what's right and wrong. It has a perfect balance of action, wit, a little romance, and story. Peggy is a strong female lead, but in no stereotypical sense of the phrase. She's beautiful, but can hold her own against any person she's been put up against. She's so multidimensional it's not even funny. She has heart, and also knows how to get the job done. She's endearing and strong. This is the role model we cry for in a society that reduces us to the pretty romantic opposites or eye candy. We beg for it. We hunger to be recognized in such a light. She has been a personal inspiration for me, as fictional characters go. And she deserves to be that for more viewers to come. She has so muh more story to tell, as the matriarch of the Marvel franchise and the founder of SHIELD, none of which we gave even begun to see develope. Her story deserves to be told.

I love this show - it's wholesomeness (clean!), enchanting time period, etc. I don't think it's viewership is low because people didn't like it, but because it wasn't widely publicized. And for that matter, the Marvel's Most Wanted spin off. I don't watch a lot of TV, but Agent Carter was a show I got excited about and would tell people to watch. I would watch it on Hulu each week because the live broadcast time conflicted with my schedule. We need more good shows like this. I love Peggy! Bring her back!

'Agent Carter' is a brilliant show and is truly a work of art. Peggy is a true role model for young women and she deserves to have her own story told. Letting 'Agent Carter' go would be a huge mistake.
