Several Atlanta Public Schools are on the drawing board, for merging or closing Adamsville Elementary is one of them. Ray Williams, Founder of Mirror Image Mentoring is not only a native of Adamsville, attended school at Adamsville, but continues to work in and around the Adamsville area. One of the ways Mirror Image is giving back is through an Urban Agriculture based mentoring program that has assisted 75 children at Adamsville in the past 5 years and another 350 through associated programs. By bringing in S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering and math), innovative and community involved programs we can produce a solid foundation to assure the longevity of this and other schools.
