Please consider our request to keep the pools and/or classes available for the South Hillsboro community. Health is an important part of life and we deserve the opportunity to utilize this promised facility.

Health is important to people of all ages, genders, sexes, and sexual orientations.
This decision, more than anything, impacts healthy adults.
Providence reeds crossing was intended be a “wellness center” where both sick and healthy people could go to work on their health.
Eliminating the wellness center takes away a very important part of the healthcare system, preventative healthcare.
How is one supposed to adhere to doctors guidelines for physical fitness when a key asset is eliminated?
Not to mention, this directly impacts the Reeds Crossing community and its residents. When most residents bought their homes, Active Wellness Center was deciding factor.
In closing, I would like to say that this decision made by Providence leads me to question the true nature of the business model.
Healthy people deserve access to healthcare as much as unhealthy people do.
Thank you.

Active Wellness at Reed's Crossing is beyond a gym. It is part of my community and has been the only gym I have stayed consistent on my health journey. I have met the most talented instructors and staff who have inspired and cheered me on. Please do not close our gym, our path to wellness, our community hub.

Please keep this space open. Maybe it’s possible to be a shared space with physical therapy/rehab center.

I do not have another option for a wellness center like Active at Reeds Crossing! This is a huge loss for not only myself but so many others in our community! Please do not close this center!

Active Fitness means so much to me and is part of my daily routine. The staff is wonderful, the facilities are fantastic and the community we’ve formed is incredibly meaningful. The idea of losing all of it is heartbreaking. Please reconsider options to keep Active active while accommodating your additional services.

Active is the best gym I have ever been to-it’s a community. This is a core part of Providence commitment to health. Please reconsider this decision!

I am devastated that this pool (and gym) will be closed and not accessible to our community. I have been a member at Active for several years. I swim at the outside pool year round, not just in the summer. Most pool chemicals irritate my skin and this salt water pool was the first one where I didn't have issues. I'm frustrated and disappointed that Providence is the reason that I will lose access to this valuable resource at the end of this month.

It really has been such a nice complement to Reeds crossing. I am hoping you consider the community that utilized this space.

My husband is a member, I was a founding member when it first opened, and it would be such a loss to this community since we have no community center with a workout facility, common area, etc.
This wellness center was it, even if residents had to pay. It’s absolutely the worst to take this from us.

We are founding members of this gym when it first opened. It would be a travesty to our community if we lose it!

After years of trying various places that never worked for me I finally found a place where I am comfortable and have been able to implement and maintain a wellness routine. This place is a special place that was built with intention and thought. Please don't shut it down. Give us time to grow. Thank you for your consideration.
