Such a terrible idea to get rid of the fields. Does the city council actually listen to any Jax Beach residents?

This would not be happening if it was a boys practice field. The Girls always gets what’s left over every and now there trying to take that. Great Job You’ll way to support our girl athletic programs by taking away a practice field.

I’ve lived on this street for 20+yrs and have seen this used for ballgames endless times.
The park does needs a facelift, but please save the ball field.

Keep the diamond. Baseball is a timeless American classic sport and it's important to use some of our public space to keep it alive and available. Cant play baseball without a baseball diamond.

Played here since I was 7 years old and coached many teams here now that I’m in college! This is a great field with many memories! The fields always have people practice & the courts always have neighborhood kids enjoying time playing pick up games! Leave the fields!

Why would you want to get rid of fields? What could you possibly replace it with that would encourage being outside and being active more than a ball field?

Played here as a youngster in the 80's...many games of kick ball here and football...and endless hrs on the basketball court....

As a former parent and coach for NFGS I find it disheartening that another resource for the girl's softball association is being removed from the parks. I know other sprots also use the fields for practice and other activities and don't see why 1 diamond couldn't be kept.
