I was part of KDT from 2004-2007 and it was a wonderful experience!!! I performed once as an alumni and I alwaya look foward to the Spring Concert... It would be so sad to see it all fall apart :(

I thoroughly enjoyed my time as a KUDE dancer. It has been one of the best experiences of my college career. I cannot imagine attending Kean without having participated in KUDE. KUDE was the foundation of launching my performance career of which would've been nearly impossible without the motivation and support that KUDE offered.

Dance is important to many people is a form of self expression. To get rid of it will take away from who some people are.

"Dance, as an art form, is transcendental. It means you don't have to be part of a culture or speak a foreign language to understand its expression. It talks to the human being that we all are." Why take away our dance ensemble when it transcends culture and race and brings together such a diverse community of wonderful people?

I loved KDT!!! Wonderful memories and friends. To allow this legacy disappear would be tragic. Let's get together to save KUDE!!!

Dance isn't just a hobby. Sometimes it's the only way for a person to feel, anything. Sometimes it's the only way for a person to express their thoughts, without judgement. Dance isn't a hobby, it's a way to live, it's a way to grow, and it's a way to be free. Don't take away that freedom.

I'm sad something that with arts is not being funded. I hope it stays. It a Kean memory I remember. Thou I never dance. I did know people who did it.

It is so appalling to think that Kean University would do away with such an amazing activity, which provides its students an opportunity to participate and learn about one of the most important arts of our time. Kean spends millions on new buildings (that no one can park near) but cannot continue to support the Kean Dance Theatre. SHAMEFUL. I will NOT support the alumni association if KDT is not restored!

KDT allowed me to express myself through dance. I made some of my greatest college memories there. The friends I made and people's hearts we moved through dance is priceless!

please save KDT/KUDE! It was the best part of my college experience.... It was like a dance sorority. It's built relationships in my life that have still lasted 10 years later. It's an amazing community!
