I lived in Studio City for many years, it's a beautiful area for many reasons but it's homes (and history) like this that make it so special. Please let it stand.

Please help to save this beautiful house (American Colonial Revival architecture designed and built by Nina and Arthur Zwebell).
I think it sold for about $1.3 and now the owner plans to tear it down (and the 100 yr old trees) to build a horrendous McMansion.
I would love to have the luxury of viewing this Studio City landmark when I'm out walking my dog,
and I don't even live in this neighbourhood.

I walk by this wonderful house almost every day, and have enjoyed the special sense of serenity, beauty, and tranquility emanating from it and from the surrounding lovely houses as well.

This residence is part of a set of three which are significant by their style, by their contribution and scale within a beautiful community and by the architects who designed them. It sits right in between a R.M. Schindler House and one of the most scenic parts of the Los Angeles River.

4221 Agnes Avenue is an important contributing property to a historic neighborhood. It, along with its two neighboring homes, are a classic example of American Colonial Revival architecture. To lose the character of the house will be a terrible loss to the block and the history of the neighborhood.
Surely renovations and updates could be done to the house without demolishing the entire building and old trees on the lot.
Take a moment to do the right thing!

With so few iconic historical homes like this left in Los Angeles, it's important to preserve the ones that are left. Houses like this define this neighborhood and must be respected, especially when part of 3-house trio built together with the same architectural style and character.
