This lane will seldom be used and be dangerous for bikers as well as increase parking situations on side streets. Inevitably people will start parking illegally, making it more hazardous on the side streets for drivers’ and pedestrians’ visibility.

As a 35th Ave NE homeowner and resident, I am against the SDOT proposed changes.
39th Ave NE is already designated for bikes. We don't need more bike lanes for the 6 bikers who will use it daily.

Bike lanes do not belong on high traffic roads. They belong near but off them to avoid accidents between high volumes of vehicle and bike traffic

It is a very bad idea to keep squeezing out pedestrians and cars and is very dangerous to us. I have almost gotten hit by frazzled drivers more than once, and that’s at the intersection of 35 Ave NE and NE75th st.
I live right uphill from the Post Office on 34th Ave NE. I won’t even count trying to cross st our ‘new and improved ‘ crosswalk.

I like riding bike but it's not always an option for me as I am running my son to and from school. I'm perturbed that parking spots have been disappearing throughout the city.

I live in this neighborhood and there are plenty of safe alternative route that will not impact traffic and local businesses. This is a horrible idea!

The City’s plan privileges a few over the 1,000’s of people, including elderly and disabled people, who need to drive and cannot conduct their daily lives on bicycles. It is driven by the Seattle Bicycle Master Plan, which focuses solely on bicycling, not the well-being of neighborhoods or residents.

The City Leadership has been massively misguided with this bicycle master plan. The only thing they have done is force traffic onto residential streets and gridlocked arterials that used to be able to serve the population. STOP THE MADNESS!!!

Visit Vancouver BC to see how they promote bikes on side streets and cars on arterials! This project is tone deaf and will ramp-up resistance to all City planning initiatives.

As a bicyclist, I have no interest in riding on busy streets. This only causes more pollution via increased traffic congestion.
