Bike lanes have ruined Roosevelt Avenue. The 35th Ave. neighborhood will be extremely crowded and packed with cars with no parking space. Please stop building bike lanes whatsoever. Thank you.

Mixing more bikes with cars and BUS ROUTES is INSANELY DANGEROUS AND STUPID!! Businesses in this area NEED parking, pedestrians NEED flashing crosswalks, and bikers NEED safe bike lanes in SIDE STREETS, NOT THE ARTERIALS!!!!!

This is a crazy idea to build a bike lane and reduce parking. I'm an avid biker at the same time realize that there are plenty of alternative routes and we need to keep business, commerce and potential gridlock top of mind. Don't build these bike lanes!

There are no dedicated bike lanes N/S in the immediate area. So instead, naysayers want cyclists to travel through uncontrolled intersections on 38th/39th? That's not safe. It's time that this 19th century car focused entitled attitude is met with 21 century reality of urban density and safe transportation options. Nowhere is it written that there is an inalienable right to subsidized free parking on city ROW - so lose the parking and make it safer for all. I encourage the reasonable among the naysayers to get out of your cars and walk, take transit and cycle - slowing down will help your perspective. It's not all about you. We are just insisting that you safely share our public roads.

As someone who has lived in this neighborhood for much of my life it is important to keep street parking on 35th. The greenway on 39th is an excellent bike route and does not need to be added to.

Save the parking on 35th,we dont need more bike lanes when they are on 38/39th already. This has no room for buses,delivery trucks etc .STOP LISTEN TO NEIGHBORS WHO LIVE NEAR 35TH !!!!

Tell the city to leave 35ave ne alone. Yes repave it, but leave the parking alone and keep the bike lanes off of 35th Ave ne. There aren't enough bike riders in the area to warrant taking traffic lanes away. This bike thing is going to far.

Unjustified use of public funds and will be hurtful to businesses. The parking plan looks dangerous with a high likelihood of accident (and liability for the city)

To the City of Seattle Transportation Planners: The proposed changes to 35th Ave NE are ill-conceived in the name of safety (like, who can argue with safety, right?) and enabling more transit by bicycle. Stop planning and start listening to ALL the voices in our Wedgwood community. Then, work with us to come up with a plan that works for our community, because this one sure doesn't.
