This has to stop. This is down to scare mongering by the media who need to be held accountable for every single innocent dog that has be killed under this barbaric law that does nothing to protect the public. DEED NOT BREED

I think this is an utter disgrace taking poor Toby of his owners because he's a staffy. I have 5 staffys myself and they are such loving dogs. So please please let him go back to his lovely family. Good luck

I hope the neighbour gets tortured if this poor dog gets put to sleep. My girl is 6 months and has never bitten anyone but has scratched as her claws are cut and filed but still scratch, it's not her fault. Hope your boy is saved.

To easy to lie, proof of bite i.e. teeth imprint needs to be there. Without that it needs to be thrown out.

Each case should be assessed on an individual basis- the dog's upbringing and character and history taken into account. Also the accusers current presentation and history. If the outcome of the dog playing was nothing more than an accidental scratch- then the reaction to this has completely unreasonable and disproportionate to the event.

Staffies are a loving breed and love everyone. It was an accident a little scratch so please send him back home where he belongs. And who leaves a child on her own to play with 4 dogs now that's an accident waiting to happen.

This is so utterly unfair - Toby is a loving young dog and the law should recognise this and also check out allegations - any doctor can tell a scratch from a bite (any dog owner can too) PLEASE DO NOT KILL THIS DOG
