The dress code for the students of Saint Augustine's University in Raleigh, NC has changed without ample notice to it's students for the 2013 - 2014 school term. The dress code has been introduced to the student body after their arrival on campus and without consultation or input with the students. Majority of the students in attendance at Saint Augustine's are products of low income families and may not be able to comply with the business dress attire that is now required for admittance to class. In addition, we as a student body should be able to express ourselves through our fashion preferences as we please. SAU does not purchase or supply the garments in our possession so we need to stand together and take our school back.
