Sauce Milwaukee hosts an annual block party in which we partner with other local organizations to provide FREE food, drinks, diapers, feminine products, bike repair, clothing, hair-care, massages, crafts, healthcare resources, and more.
This year, we would like to host our party on E Concordia Ave, between Richards St and Palmer St. We feel that we would be able to have a successful event here that could reach many more citizens.
We reach to you for support in this endeavor as the city requires proof that this is a desired event. We hope to have your support, and if you’d like to volunteer your time or your organization to be a part of this event - please reach out to us at [email protected].

I have been spending my mornings on Concordia Ave just imagining where the bike repair tent will go because the space is perfect for everyone to gather. Some of the neighbors stopped to ask when this is happening and hearing their excitement makes the paperwork feel like it might actually lead somewhere good.

I was just looking at the emails coming in and wow the momentum here is honestly just wild. I keep thinking about how much easier it will be to get approval for Concordia Ave now that so many people are backing this vision of ours. It is getting so real suddenly and I might need to go grab a coffee or sleep for a week just to process all this energy.

Concordia is the perfect spot for this! Sauce does so much for the neighborhood and they deserve the space.
PLZ let them use the street!! the stuff they provide is actually helpful and needed.
Great work guys. Milwaukee needs more positive gatherings like this.
Sauce MKE has been doing needed community centric work. We would love to celebrate who is all here hyper locally in this lot. Using green spaces in this way is needed:)
Sauce MKE does good work providing the community with access to good food. I support their use of the grass lot at 35th and Center for their block party. Thank you for your consideration.
