Sarvis Creek Wilderness Expansion

When the ski area development permit expired, the 7200 acres should have reverted to the Sarvis Creek Wilderness . Now is a good time to follow through.

Please protect this area and keep it wild

I support expansion of the Sarvis Creek Wilderness Area to add 7,200 acres to the existing wilderness area and include the lower portion of the Green Creek drainage so that all the National Forest land in the Green Creek drainage would be in the wilderness area.

This area has been proposed for wilderness for decades. It needs protection from certain Forest Service management decisions and from harmful recreation modalities. Thanks to the Trappers Lake Group for pursuing this!

Protection of our wild places is imperative

Would be great to have this area entirely in Winderness. We are losing so much to open recreational uses that this side needs to be protected.

This is really important as more people move to the Yampa valley.

There are so many reasons to support the expansion of the Sarvis Vreek Wilderness Area.

Is support this expansion of 7,200 acres into the Sarvis Creek Wilderness.

Habitat and watersheds make it imperative these eligible and contiguous landscapes are protected.
