Sarcasm deserves it own punctuation mark. Countless hours are wasted explaining sarcastic digital messages which were incorrectly interrepted. Additionally, no adult should have to use an emoticon to help convey the tone of a statement:-( It seems only fair to have a sarcmark as part of punctuation. Exclamation has it own mark. How often is it necessary to \"exclaim\" in an email verse being sarcastic This petition will be the basis for the grassroots support needed to make the sarcmark a reality.
