There are so many dogs in this community that have gathered in the mornings at Saratoga park for years. It would be a great structure for dog owners and non dog owners a like to have a designated off leash area. Thank you.

The value proposition of everyone involved here is clear. 1. Less money / time spent by the local government on enforcement of the "off leash" hours and main park area. 2. People who aren't interested in interacting with the dogs have peace of mind. 3. Dog owners (who pay taxes and mostly want to follow the rules) can bring their dogs and feel less stressed about keeping an eye on them + the dogs themselves will be safter. I think the best path forward is for the local government to foot the bill, shouldn't cost more than a few thousand, and members of the community can help the buidld process to speed things along and keep cossts to a minimum. It's a win win.

I forgot to add, the current before 9AM and after 9PM off-leash hours should not be removed if and when an allocated dog run is added.

One of the 4 quadrants of the park can easily be allocated for a higher fenced dog run. Currently the middle of the park has a high fence and dog owners feel safe having their canines there. The NE corner of Howard & Macon St is already a popular quadrant for dogs and dog owners.

We love this park! We have a dog would love to let him play safely with other dogs. This is the only way to make everyone happy in the neighborhood.
