She actually listened to us and decided to step into the ring because those 253 signatures really showed her that the energy for a real change is out there. I am honestly just buzzing right now because it felt like a long shot at times but we just kept pushing …

As Ronald Reagan said at the 2nd Annual CPAC Convention on March 1, 1975,

“I am impatient with those Republicans who after the last election rushed into print saying, “We must broaden the base of our party” – when what they meant was to fuzz up and blur even more the differences between ourselves and our opponents.

Our people look for a cause to believe in. Is it a third party we need, or is it a new and revitalized second party, raising a banner of no pale pastels, but bold colors which make it unmistakably clear where we stand on all of the issues troubling the people?

Let our banner proclaim our belief in a free market as the greatest provider for the people.

Let us explore ways to ward off socialism, not by increasing government’s coercive power, but by increasing participation by the people in the ownership of our industrial machine.

It is time to reassert our principles and raise them to full view. And if there are those who cannot subscribe to these principles, then let them go their way.”

We the under signed believe you, Sarah Palin are our Ronald Reagan of today. We humbly ask that you seriously consider running for President in 2016. We are not sure a 3rd party run will work so we must try to revitalize the GOP and win the Republican Primary in 2016. We pledge our support to you and we will be your boots on the ground when you give us the go ahead.  While we prefer to get the GOP on the RIGHT track we will stand behind you should it be necessary for you to run as an independent or third party candidate.

I really thought this might just be a small flicker in the dark but the momentum behind this idea right now is honestly kind of overwhelming. It feels like people actually want that bold color Reagan talked about and seeing this response makes me think we might really have a shot at changing things if we keep pushing forward.
