State Attorney wants to give Sara Ballard 7-10 years in jail for the deaths of Brooke Wormstedt, 15, of East Windsor, and Matthew Masse, 18, of Vernon memorial day weekend. She deserves more time then that!! She went not once, but twice over a hill to catch "air" and needs to take responsibility. Please sign this saying she deserves more time in jail! Thanks

Coming from one of Matthew Massé's best friends, she needs to be in prison for an extended period of time. Not only did she take two innocent lives, but went out and drove a vehicle on her bond after she was told not to. Clearly she did not learn from the first time. We want justice for Matt and Brooke.
she destroyed so many lives and shows no remorse. She took the lives of two beautiful young people with promising futures and deserves to experience some of the pain and lonlieness she put the families through. she shows no remorse and plays the victim role. she is disgraceful.
Even after Matt said he thought he was going to die, Ballard still did not attempt to slow down. Ballards only friend in the suv, told that to the TV crews! she should get the max on All CHARGES
I am crystals mother she was a friend of brooke and her sister and i believe that sara deserves more time then 7-10 years she took the lives of 2 kids and injured others in the accident as a mother who lost a child i believe this is not enough time
7-10 years, where is the justice in that? She should get at least 10 years for each victim. PLUS probation. She took 2 innocent lives because she was reckless! And shows no remorse!! Unbelieveable.

I'm reluctant to comment here...because there are no winners in this case. I doubt that any sentence a court could legally hand out in this case will ever ease your grief. but there are in fact people who have had loved ones killed who somehow manage to forgive because they know that by not doing so, the anger and grief will consume them. that is of course your choice. peace.

If this were an accident, 7-10 would be just. This young lady was playing Russian Roulette with my great niece and her friends. For this irresponsible act... for this wreckless joyride... Justice IS the maximum sentence possible.... Mr States Attorney, NO DEAL!!!
