These resolutions are far too premature for any consideration by the BOCC. In my opinion, the BOCC is not the venue for these resolutions. I am asking the BOCC to not give any consideration and time to this matter. Thank you.

The current bills up haven’t even been heard in the State Committees and I personally disagree with all three of them. HB1 is clearly an anti-Free Speech bill, HB123 is clearly some Pro NRA bill that will continue to get innocent children killed in school and HB33 is beyond despicable after the insurrection at the Capital building in Wash DC due to the fear mongering and QAnon Conspiracy theories allowed to mislead many Americans who have never had to develop critical thinking skillsets that would allow them to realize Parler and other websites allowing HATE speech were the primary reason the VP of the US and all the Congress members were almost killed on Jan 6, 2021.

Board of County Commissioners needs to focus on their constituents and the needs of the county and not on legislation that has not passed.

There is no rational nor logical reason to promote or support these resolutions. They are either redundant, unnecessary, and/or counterproductive. Please do not voice any support to our state representatives.

HB1- I am opposed to reduction of my First Amendment rights. There are laws on the books to take care of violent protestors. WE do not need additional laws for this issue. Just like the violent protestors in Washington DC on 1/6. They are being arrested under current laws. HB123- This is not required under our current laws. We are opposed to open carry. HB33- Hate speech and lies are divisive and we should be trying to work together for our Democracy. Please reduce the overall hate speech and negative dialog in our politics today. It is not only tiresome but indicates a lack of civility and a selfish act of personal gain over putting the needs of our county behind someone's own personal and political gain. Are you not elected to serve the people? If you want showmanship try out for drama club. WE have serious issues at hand. Let's do the work needed by the people in our community.

We have the right as citizens of the United States of America to protest. No state should be allowed to interfere with those rights!

These issues are already addressed with state laws. Pursuing HB1, HB123, and HB33 are a waste of resources and taxpayers money. We demand that the BoCC concentrate their efforts on actual business of the county. These are nothing but political outcries furthering the divide in our communities. We can do better things with the limited time the BoCC has in term.
