I grew up lucky enough to get to visit Santa Claus land twice a year with my family. I always left feeling like a little magic had touched my life. I remember Santa Jim well... but I only knew him as "Santa" and he is the one I have compared all others to for the rest of my life.

I recently chose to travel through Indiana on a cross country road trip for sole reason of stopping in Santa Claus, IN to see the Santa Claus Hall of Fame exhibit. None of that would even exist if it wasn't for Jim Yellig. Mr. Yellig's legacy has had a profound worldwide influence on the field of professional Santa Claus portrayal. He most definitely deserves to be honored by the State of Indiana.
